Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide children opportunities to participate in activities that will develop them socially, emotionally and intellectually into self-assured children. Barlina House Preschool is a Crystal Lake Park District program and is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Our instructors are Early Childhood Educators, AED/CPR and First Aid Certified.

Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is in line with Illinois Early Learning Standards. Through play and a semi-structured schedule, the children will have opportunities to engage in language, literacy, math and science activities along with art, music and dramatic play for self-expression.

Registration
Enrollment for 2019 - 2020 school year: Current Students: December 1, 2018 New Students:January 7, 2019 Registration January 7-July 31 online or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake After August 1, 2019, registration is in person only at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, 1 E. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake A $50 non-refundable registration fee will be charged at time of initial registration. First tuition payment will be due September 1. If registering after August 1, the $50 registration fee AND first tuition payment will be due at time of registration. A 5% discount is offered for 2nd and 3rd child from same immediate family. To check class availability, contact Admin Office at 815.459.0680. Please note: The Crystal Lake Park District will provide your Barlina House Preschool bill electronically. Our Requirements
Children must be toilet trained. No PULL-UPS are allowed. Placement available for 3-5 year olds and is based upon your child's age as of September 1.
